Christmas Tree Collection & Recycling 2026
This January, My Tidy Garden will be volunteering with Julia’s House Children’s Hospice to support their 2026 Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling fundraiser scheme. We will be out with our van, tools, and plenty of hard work, helping to collect as many real Christmas trees as possible across the local area.
We are proud to be part of this campaign. It is a simple, practical way to support a truly important local charity, while also making post-Christmas clear-up easier and more environmentally responsible.
Why we are getting involved
We were recently brainstorming ideas of how our business can make a positive impact locally when we discovered Julia’s house were looking for volunteers. As a local garden maintenance team used to collecting and recycling garden waste, this seemed right up our street.
Julia’s House supports seriously ill children and their families, and this collection helps raise vital funds to continue that work. All trees are collected and recycled by volunteers.
How the collection works
Julia’s House organises a doorstep collection for real Christmas trees, with a suggested minimum donation of £15 to support the hospice. If you are able to give more, every extra pound helps.
If you are having a real tree this year, we would love you to consider booking a collection and supporting this brilliant cause.
Collection dates
Collections will take place between 8th and 10th January 2026.
There is a good chance we will see some of you in the new year when we are out collecting.
