My Tidy Garden provide reliable and professional regular grass cutting and lawn care service across Bournemouth and Poole. Not only do we take care of the practical side of cutting the grass to a high standard, we also focus on providing an all-round great customer service.
On every visit as a minimum, we make sure the lawn is cut to the right length, that the edges are well maintained and the lawn is clear of leaves, litter, fallen branches or any other debris.
We also provide a free weed and feed treatment for every customer who signs up for our basic, regular lawn mowing service and can offer a range of other lawn care treatments where required such as; patch repair, scarification, aeration, fertilser applications and pest, disease, weeds & moss control.
Whether your lawn needs a quick trim or you’ve got some seriously overgrown grass, wherever possible we’ll offer a same-day grass cutting service and always aim to visit you within 72 hours of receiving your enquiry.
As long as you’re happy with our service, we can arrange a more regular lawn maintenance plan which will keep the grass looking good all-year-round.

How much our lawn mowing service costs varies depending on a number of factors such as; your location, size of lawn, ease of access, obstacles and whether waste is being removed. In order to give you an accurate quote we always like to visit the property to meet with you and assess the lawn. Usually, we can give a price and complete an initial mow there and then.
If a lawn is badly overgrown, the first cut may cost more than what we would usually charge, should we return to mow the lawn on a more regular basis.
Most of our customers lawns are cut on a fortnightly basis between March – November. By having your grass cut regularly, it will keep it in much better condition and means you pay less for each mow.
We have a minimum call-out charge of £25 for one off jobs. However, some of our customers pay less than this for their regular maintenance cuts with prices starting as low as £15 per mow.
With our grass cutting maintenance plans we provide a fixed-price service for an agreed number of visits during the year. For grass cutting only, this is typically around 20 fortnightly visits per year. Between March and November.
We may visit your garden more often or combine visits, should you also require additional gardening services such as: Hedge Cutting, Plant & Border Maintenance, Pressure Washing, Weed Control or, other general Gardening Tasks.
When signing up for a regular garden maintenance service, you will receive a breakdown of exactly how many visits will be required, an overview of the tasks to be completed and the total cost.
A regular garden or lawn maintenance schedule is generally a more cost-efficient option than infrequent visits. Because, plants thrive and are easier to manage when cared for regularly.

When you sign up for the advanced lawn care maintenance plan we complete a free lawn and soil analysis in order to tailor our treatments and achieve the best possible results for your lawn.
We may decide its best to begin by firstly undertaking a complete lawn renovation.
Once maintenance begins, we will take extra care to rejuvenate any bare patches in the lawn, deal with weeds & moss, provide 5x nutrient feeds per year. In addition to, mechanical treatments such as aeration & scarification if required.
When you request a quote for our gardening services we will arrange a convenient time to meet with you at your property. For most jobs we are able to provide a price there and then and often complete the work immediately. If you decide to use us on a more regular basis, we will agree a set number of yearly visits and the tasks to be undertaken. The total cost can then be broken down into manageable monthly payments.
Yes, we are fully insured for £2 million public liability insurance which covers us working on your property. We also hold the required waste disposal license allowing us to transport waste.
We always aim to cut your grass to an ideal length for the particular season. Generally, we cut between 20mm and 40mm. and follow the one 3rd rule. Mowing little and often like this helps to control weeds, encourages healthier roots, reduces the likelihood of diseases and minimises stress on the lawn.
We generally mow on a fortnightly basis. Sometimes more frequently during the growing season and less through colder months. Typically for a standard domestic lawn, we visit around 20 times through the year.
Yes we can take away the waste when we leave. However, with light hedge trimming jobs, we prefer not to as it costs you more and there is usually a way that the clippings can be recycled to benefit the garden.
This is also true of more substantial waste or thicker branches generated from hedge reductions or removals. When we visit to price the job, we will discuss the options with you. Ultimately, it is always your choice and comes down to personal preference.
