At My Tidy Garden, the range of tasks we perform can vary greatly. This is why, unlike an hourly rate which is subject to abuse and manipulation, we usually charge a fixed cost per service or visit.
This way, you’ll know the cost of the work before we start and won’t pay more if something takes us longer than expected. When you request a quote, we’ll provide you with a detailed breakdown of costs and the tasks to be performed so you can make an informed decision.
We always strive to offer our customers the best value for their money. If you just want to compare gardeners based on an hourly rate we suggest reading this article about how to get the best value for your money.
The cost of work for each job varies based on a number of factors such as: tasks & equipment required, difficulty, size of garden/area, ease of access, time, materials and whether you need garden waste to be taken away.
We accept payment by bank transfer, debit or credit cards & cash. We do not offer a discount for cash payments.
No, we generally charge additional for waste removal. We always encourage our customers to make use of the local council green bin scheme or to reuse the waste on site when suitable.
Prices start from £15 per half tonne bulk bag (max 50kg) or £25 per large one-tonne bulk bag (max 100kg). Discounts are offered for larger loads. Find out more about our garden waste removal costs here.
Yes, we hold a lower tier waste carriers license allowing us to legally remove and transport green waste away from your site. This license does not permit us to carry other general waste such as rubble, furniture, broken sheds/greenhouses, bicycles etc. Find out more about our Bournemouth & Poole garden waste removal service.
Yes, we offer a planting service. You can either buy the plants yourself or we can source and collect them for you using local trade nurseries.
Yes, you can. We can visit either weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly or seasonally to suit your needs. Depending on your garden, we may visit more frequently through spring to autumn and less during the winter months. Find out more about our Bournemouth & Poole garden maintenance service here.
When we have time, we may help existing regular customers with additional services such as the ones you mention, along with things like exterior wall painting, re-pointing patios, treating wooden furniture and decking, etc.
We’re more likely to complete these tasks during quieter winter months. During other months of the year, we generally only have time for our core garden services. If we’re unable to complete a task we will advise you to seek the help of another professional and may be able to offer recommendations.
Yes, we are fully insured with employers’ liability insurance and public liability insurance. This means that if something goes wrong, you’re protected in case your property is damaged or if we or you, are injured on your property.
Depending on the time of year and how busy we are, we occasionally run promotional offers for new and existing customers via email or social media.
We also offer a £20 cashback scheme to customers for every friend and neighbour they refer to us.
You may be able to save money by combining services undertaken during an initial garden tidy-up.
Very rarely but we do occasionally work on Sundays and on public bank holidays.
There’s a few ways. You can either call us, send us an email or, request a quote online. After an initial conversation, we can schedule a convenient time to visit you at your property.
